Customers are given a strict 4-hour window from the time an order is placed to request any modification or cancellation. This is the only period during which changes can be accepted.
During these initial 4 hours, orders are temporarily held, allowing time to review and correct details if needed.
Once this window closes, the order is automatically released into production, and no further changes can be made.

• Corrections to custom text or personalization
• Replacing uploaded images or design files
• Changing product quantity or item type
• Canceling the entire order
• Updating the shipping address
Why the 4-Hour Window Is Strict
Once the holding period ends, production preparation begins immediately. This includes:
• Reviewing design files and personalization details
• Preparing printing, embroidery, or engraving instructions
• Allocating materials, inventory, and product variants
• Scheduling the order into the active production queue
After these steps begin, changes or cancellations can cause workflow disruptions, production delays, or wasted materials. For this reason, the 4-hour policy applies equally to all customers without exception.
How to Request a Change or Cancellation (Within 4 Hours)
If you need to make a change, acting quickly is essential. Email is the fastest and most reliable method for urgent requests.
To request a change properly:

“URGENT: Order [Your Order Number] Change/Cancellation”

• Order cancellations
• Shipping address updates

Customer Responsibility for Accurate Shipping Information
Customers are fully responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address at checkout. This includes verifying:
• Street name and house number
• Apartment, suite, or unit number
• City, state, and ZIP code
• Proper spelling
• Carrier-recognized address format (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL)
Even small errors can result in delivery delays or failed shipments.
Consequences of Incorrect Address Details
If a carrier is unable to deliver due to incorrect or incomplete address information, the customer will be responsible for any re-shipping fees.

If tracking confirms delivery to the address provided at checkout, Shellslaw is not responsible for replacements or refunds. The order will be considered successfully fulfilled.
