A. Order Processing

All orders are subject to a standard processing period of 2–5 business days. During this time, we carefully review order details, confirm payment, and prepare each item to meet our quality standards before shipment.

Our processing workflow includes item inspection, order preparation, secure packaging, shipping label creation, and a final accuracy check. These steps help ensure your order is shipped correctly and safely.

Our business days run from Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed outside business hours will be processed on the next working day.

Orders submitted after 7:00 PM EST will automatically be included in the following business day’s processing cycle. Orders placed on Sundays or holidays will begin processing once normal operations resume.

B. Extended Processing for Special Orders

Customized or personalized items, including custom text, artwork, or unique designs, require an additional 1–3 business days to complete. This allows our team time to finalize details and ensure accuracy before shipment.

Bulk or wholesale orders exceeding 50 items may require 7–10 business days, depending on inventory availability and production capacity.

Special orders involve coordination across multiple departments, which can extend processing timelines. Same-day processing is only available for non-custom orders placed before 7:00 PM EST.

C. Shipping Carriers

Once processing is complete, your order is shipped using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL for select destinations.

The carrier is chosen based on destination, package size, weight, and the safest available delivery route to ensure reliable transit.

D. Shipping Fees

All domestic orders ship with a flat-rate shipping fee of $6.99 USD.

This flat rate covers protective packaging, careful handling, and dependable shipping services. We prioritize transparency, so there are no hidden fees at checkout.

E. Estimated Delivery Time

After shipment, most U.S. orders arrive within 5–12 business days. Delivery times vary depending on location, carrier performance, and seasonal shipping volume.

Orders shipped to rural or remote areas may take slightly longer due to extended delivery routes. Delays may also occur due to weather conditions, high-volume periods, or carrier operational challenges.

During peak seasons such as major holidays or promotional events, both processing and delivery times may be extended. For time-sensitive purchases, we recommend placing orders 2–3 weeks in advance.

F. Shipping Limitations

At this time, Shellslaw does not ship to the following locations:

Alaska
Hawaii
U.S. Territories including Guam, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa
P.O. Boxes
APO, FPO, or DPO military addresses

These limitations are based on carrier restrictions. We are continually exploring options to expand our shipping coverage in the future.

G. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, a tracking number will be sent to you via email or SMS, based on the contact information provided at checkout.

Tracking details typically become active within 24–48 hours after the carrier scans the package. During peak seasons, tracking updates may appear with slight delays. We recommend checking your tracking link regularly for the most accurate delivery status.

H. Holiday and Peak Season Information

National holidays, large sales events, and severe weather conditions can increase carrier volume and cause delays.

To minimize potential disruptions, we encourage customers to place holiday orders as early as possible to allow sufficient processing and transit time.
